Privacy Policy
Visa4Thai is an independent online visa assistance service operated from Thailand. This policy explains what data we handle, why, and the rights you have over it. By using our services you agree to this policy.
Last updated: 8 October 2026
Data we collect
Contact and identity details you share with us (name, email address, LINE or Messenger ID, phone number), and the visa application documents you send us to prepare your file - passport scans, photos, travel, financial and employment documents.
Why we use it
Only to provide the service you requested: advising you, preparing and checking your application, booking your appointment and communicating with you.
We never sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Confidentiality
Everything you send us - documents, messages and files - is treated as strictly confidential, whether or not you become a customer. It is protected under this policy and destroyed under the same rules.
Where your data goes
Your application documents are submitted to the French Embassy and TLScontact as part of your own visa application. Our communications run through channels such as LINE, Facebook Messenger and email, each covered by their own policies.
This website itself sets no cookies and runs no tracking analytics.
Your data is processed in Thailand. Our website links to third-party sites such as the French Embassy, TLScontact, LINE and Facebook Messenger - their own policies apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their content.
How long we keep it
Your visa file is destroyed within 90 days after the service is completed, or earlier at any time on your request.
Only minimal payment records (name, amount, date) are kept for accounting and tax purposes.
Minors
Our services are ordered by adults (18 or older). We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from minors - documents relating to minors (for example in a family application) are provided by their parent or guardian, who consents to their inclusion in the application.
Your rights
Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), you may request access, correction or deletion of your data, or withdraw your consent. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
You may also lodge a complaint with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, and access to it is limited to what the service requires.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, the current version stays published on this page.
